- Paving requires regular maintenance to prevent the build-up of debris.
- Brush leaves and berries regularly to avoid them gathering on the paving and causing staining.
- For general cleaning of dirt and algae, brush the paving with a stiff brush with plenty of hot water with detergent – washing up liquid or non-bio washing powder will suffice.
- Rinse the area thoroughly with clean water. If your paved area is situated beneath trees or in permanent/near permanent shade, you may need to repeat the steps above

Can I use a power hose?
- If you wish to use a power washer, a light power hose at medium pressure is generally all that is required to clean general dirt and grime.
- If any jointing material is removed by power hosing, take time to replace this.
- Do not use a high-pressure power washer as aggressive power washing can damage the product surface. A trial area should be tested before large-scale power washing takes place.
- We do not recommend power washing Tobermore’s EasyClean paving. Stains and dirt on EasyClean paving should be wiped away.
Please refer to the EasyClean maintenance guide for more information.

How do I remove weeds from paving?
Large weeds should be removed by hand and then the area treated with a weed killer. Smaller weeds can then be treated directly with weed killer; these weeds should start to die within days. The manufacturer’s instructions should always be followed when using any weed-killing agent.
